As every solid surface shower base is custom manufactured to your specifications, a completed quote form is required with every order and quote inquiry.
This ensures all important details—including your shower base size, outlet position, and wall or screen lip configuration—are accurately captured, allowing us to manufacture your shower base exactly as required.
Wet Area Solutions shower bases are available with a range of lip profile options to suit your bathroom design and waterproofing requirements. Whether you're installing against one wall, into a corner, or creating an open shower, we have a profile to suit your project.
Shower Lip
Designed to retain water within the shower area while providing a neat, finished edge.
- Height: 10mm
- Width: 35mm
Wall Lip
Installed against the wall to provide a waterproof transition behind wall linings or tiles.
- Height: 10mm
- Width: 5mm
Internal Wall Lip
An internal upstand designed for applications requiring a lower profile behind wall linings.
- Height: 5mm
- Width: 25mm
No Lip
For installations where no upstands are required, our shower bases are also available without lip profiles. Even without lips, every shower base is precision manufactured with the required inbuilt fall to the waste for effective drainage.
Overall Base Profile
Our shower bases are available in two slimline profiles:
- 12mm Base Profile – Overall height of 22mm when supplied with lip profiles.
- 20mm Base Profile – Overall height of 30mm when supplied with lip profiles.
Our solid surface shower bases are available in 12mm and 20mm base profiles.
The most suitable profile will depend on the size of your shower base and the location of the outlet. Where required, we'll recommend the 20mm profile to ensure the shower base provides the correct fall to the waste and complies with Australian building requirements NCC AS3740.

Configuration of Standard Shower Bases (example)
Although our custom shower bases can be made with any lips or none at all the most common configuration for a base going in the corner of a bathroom would have 2 wall lips and 2 screen lips (10mm high as pictured).

The base pictured on the right was designed and manufactured for a mining camp in Western Australia. These bases solved a severe mould problem this Pilbara camp were having with the existing wet area. Regular maintenance was required to avoid the serious health issues caused by mould. Client very happy.
